After over a week of house searching, we decided it was time for a much needed break. One of the best things about New Jersey is going to be having the beach less than an hour away! The girls had never been to the beach before. Little H was hesitant about getting in the water, but by the end of the day she warmed up to the idea a little bit. She was okay with it as long as daddy was holding her.
The girls definately loved playing in the sand. I was surprised that Baby K took to it so well. She found a little seashell that she instantly latched onto, and wouldn't let it out of her hand. She was even snuggling it to her face while she was trying to take her nap. She'd fall asleep, it would drop, and she'd instantly wake up and search for it frantically until it was back in her hand.
Daddy made Little H a huge sand castle! This was her favorite part of the day at the beach. She loved playing inside of it.
This brings back so many memories of Ocean City trips when we lived in Philly! I love that by this point in the summer the water is soooo warm. Glad to see you had some fun!!
